Alyssa Wlodarczyk

Piano & Voice Instructor

Alyssa Wlodarczyk has over 5 years of experience teaching both lessons and classes in piano and voice. She has recently completed her Master’s of Music degree in Music History at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH in April 2022.

At BGSU, she participated in the Early Music Vocal Ensemble and Collegiate Chorale while completing her thesis, “Performance Practice and Reception of the US National Anthem in the 21st century.” She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY, where she studied voice, composition, music history, and piano.

During her time at Nazareth, Alyssa toured Poland with the Chamber Singers where they were awarded the Grand Prix at the Stanislaw Moniuszko International Choir Competition in Rzeszów. In addition, she studied music and culture in Austria and Italy with her mentor Dr. Marjorie Roth, as well as Dr. Michael Malkiewicz from Mozarteum University in Salzburg.

Growing up with a music teacher as a father, Alyssa cannot remember a period of her life when music wasn't at the center and continues to find joy in instilling a love for music within children who share a similar excitement, as well as other people from several different walks of life.

When asked about her teaching style, Alyssa said "I believe the best way of establishing a journey towards a musical goal is exploring, with the student, the 6 main question words (who, what, when, where, why, and how) of that end goal. Where are we going and how will we change lives for the better through our music?"

When she's not teaching voice or piano, Alyssa enjoys spending her free time exploring her new home in Austin, playing cards, FaceTiming her friends, family, and dog in NY, playing Mario Kart, and cooking delicious recipes with her fiancé.
