Guitar, Voice, & Ukulele Instructor

Hi, my name is Bo and I am a professional musician here in Austin. I moved from California to Austin two years ago with my sister (another instructor at ACL) to play and perform in our band. We've played over a hundred and fifty shows since moving, and we love every minute we spend on stage.

I have been teaching music for five years and also have experience teaching preschool. Along with music, teaching has revealed itself as a passion in my life!

I believe my job as a teacher is to foster curiosity, create passion, and help propel students on their musical journey. I know that learning a new skill is hard, and it can take a long time for hard work to pay off. As such I approach teaching with encouragement, patience, and empathy. My goal is to foster within my students a love and passion for music which stays with them for the rest of their lives- all while learning proper technique, which allows students to be and play their best :)
