Grahame O’Shea

Drum Instructor

Originally from Sheffield, England, Grahame O’Shea has been drumming since the age of three when he received his first “mini” drum kit. Growing up, Grahame played in multiple bands and a jazz orchestra that toured around the U.K. and Europe. During this time, he had the opportunity to record at the famous Abbey Road studios and a feature performance at Royal Albert Hall in London.

Upon finishing university studies for drums and music business at the prestigious Academy of Contemporary Music outside of London, Grahame spent many years working and leading bands on luxury cruise ships. During this time, he experienced travel in over 115 countries while backing many influential artists such as Louis Shelton, Melissa Manchester, Siobhan Phillips and Toni Warne. Grahame was also the featured drummer in a project for Post Modern Jukebox.

Since 2020, Grahame has made Austin his home base and can be found on most nights gigging around the city and its surroundings with multiple bands including Gus Miller Band, The Lonely Hearts Club, Craig Marshall and many more.
